A typical Pessac-Léognan whose maturing provided it with toasted coffee and
toasted bread flavours. Requires 2 to 3 years to lay down before uncorking so
as to reveal the pleasure of its silky tanins if matched with such fine food as
"quenelles de veau" (Guide Hachette des Vins 2005, in which it was awarded one
star).
Wine and food match : Quenelles de veau
May be drunk now but should be laid down. Best between 2007/2015.
